Hospice Sabbath is a time for reflection and remembrance. It
is a time to honor the spiritual component of care at the
end-of-life.
White roses are
placed at altars to symbolize the hope and dignity which Hospice
helps to ensure for those facing end-of-life, as well as a symbol of
the special memories we treasure of those loved ones who have passed
from this life.
